For over a decade Martin Nate Rawner has photographed firefighters and the work they do in the Los Angeles area. From a major rush hour traffic accident to a huge midnight blaze, Nate has captured the never ending heroism of L. A.'s bravest on film.

Nate's interest in the work of firefighters started as a young man when he was a certified emergency medical technician and an explorer scout with the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Over time Nate's photographs have been published by local newspapers and various fire trade magazines. His photographs have also won him several awards. Nate holds an AA degree in liberal arts and has taken several photography classes from Santa Monica College's well known photography department. Nate has also worked as a news cameraman for Newsreel Productions, videotaping overnight news in the Los Angeles area.

Whether its a small incident, or something as large as the L. A. riots, a brush fire or an earthquake, Nate will be on scene, capturing L. A.'s bravest on film!
